Andrew is a Partner of the firm, having joined the firm as a solicitor in 2008, being appointed Senior Associate in 2013 and becoming a Partner in 2018. Admitted to practice in 2007, Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University and also a Bachelor of Social Sciences.

Andrew practices across a broad areas of law, and in particular in Family law, Employment law, Wills & Estate matters, and Civil, Commercial and Criminal law.

Wills and Probate

Andrew has extensive experience in dealing with all types of Estate matters, including Will challenges, and complex Probate applications, with favourable outcomes.

Andrew regularly appears at the Supreme Court and at VCAT where there is a family dispute as to the care being given to a person with a disability, or where clients have been left out of a Will.

He has extensive experience in mediations and given his highly sought negotiation skills, he achieves positive results, so that often contested matters can be settled prior to trial.

Civil Litigation

Andrew has experience in all aspects of Litigation from pre-litigation settlement negotiations, through to the discovery phase, mediations and trial. Andrew is able to draw on the firm’s network of experienced specialist barristers to appear at Court and advise on complex issues when required.

Employment Law

Andrew is also experienced in the application of unfair dismissal and general protection laws, and providing practical advice to employees and employers alike. Andrew is available to appear at Fair Work Commission for compulsory Conciliations, and brings his knowledge of the Fair Work Act 2009 and proven negotiating style to deliver positive outcomes for clients.

Business and Property

Andrew provides ongoing and practical advice to many small business owners and corporate entities and applies his knowledge in other varied areas of law to ensure that all the needs of the businesses are met. Andrew regularly advises and represents clients on property matters. Andrew also supervises all conveyancing matters undertaken by the firm.

Police Matters

Andrew is an experienced criminal solicitor advocate, regularly appearing in the Magistrates Court with a high level of commitment translated into success.

Andrew is available for urgent matters, including bail applications and police interviews. Andrew regularly draws on the firm’s network of leading psychologists and psychiatrists to assist in the preparation of Court Reports for criminal matters.

Community Involvement

Andrew has been involved in the community sector as a volunteer with the Footscray Community Legal Service, and at Salvation Army Community Wills Days.

Andrew is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, and being a Solicitor on the Register of the High Court is entitled to practice in any Federal Court.
